5 ways to get more traffic to your vacation rental website

Creating a vacation rental website is easy. Just design the website, put your name, logo, a few images, and a short description and you are good to go. But wait… no visitors are coming to my site. What am I doing wrong? What do I have to do to get more traffic to my Site? Or am I just too late that no one will see my site?

Well, you are doing nothing wrong. In fact, everything you’ve done is right so far, but that’s just a start…

There is a lot to be done to attract people to your site.

Generally, you need to get to the top of search engines where your visitors can easily find you and promote your website to get more traffic.

Here are a few ideas that you can use to get more traffic to your vacation rental website:

Post to your blog regularly

Having a blog is a great way to drive traffic to your website. With the blog, you can easily convert your audience to your websites and even convert many to potential guests.

But first, you need to have an audience that you can direct to your site. To achieve this, post regularly quality contents that are interesting enough to make other people add them to their RSS feeds.

They should be related to your property and the services you offer that differentiate you from other short-term rental properties. You may consider including pictures of your unique interior design or explain the concept that you are promoting. Make the visitors interested in what you do and what you offer in order to convert them to your future guests, or at least followers.

Comment on high traffic blogs

Commenting on high traffic blogs that are particularly in niche areas can be very effective. Go for the websites that allow you to share your URL or link to your listing. With this, people who will be reading the comments will likely to click on your link and be redirected to your website.

Write guest posts

Writing a guest post on some else’s high traffic blog can be a great way to drive traffic to your website. Many blogs accept guest posts, and you can easily find them online.

If you need your post to be published, write a letter to them requesting to be allowed to write a post for their blogs.

Create social media platforms

There are no better ways to market for free than in social media. You don’t even have to spend your money on flashy custom designs.

Use Facebook or Twitter or Instagram or any other social media that you might see suitable to market your brand. Link the platforms to your website where they should visit once they are interested in what you are offering.

Get Active in forums

Here is not for marketing but contributing thoughts and replying to what other people have asked. Consider travel forums or forums related to the area where your vacation rental property is located. Give people tips on things you can recommend or know for a fact will make them trust you. With this, you gain great followers who are loyal to you and who will go out there marketing for you.

By doing so over some time, they’ll trust and then you can mention about your vacation rental website or your blog and guide them straight to the site. Perhaps they will be booking a stay with you soon!
